For future reference, I saw scads and scads of wire clips shaped like this on EPay, but you gotta watch out as the descriptions don't always give length-width sizes.
If you go to Ebay motors Parts/accessories and type "trim moulding clips or retainers or fasteners, you will see page after page of them. But here I would consider getting a standard nylon push-in type clip. They make many sizes and if need be you could easily trim one down a little in a bench grinder to fit. That darn Fairlane top rear fender stainless trim spear. You cant reach you hand way back in there to get a nut & washer on unless your arms were six feet long. You have to use a push in tension type clip for the first couple of holes there. |
