Yes, they are strong enough to start your engine. I made a similar cradle for a friend some time ago with extra brackets to mount his radiator and battery pluss an instrument panel and small fuel tank. Every thing was self contained and he just rolled it out of his garage and fired up the engine in the drive way and when he was done, just rolled it back again.
