Default 41 Ford Coupe won't start if engine is warm.

Many thanks to all of you fellow Fordbarners who answered my question on how to fix my coupe. It wouldn't start once the engine was hot. I considered all of the advice you gave me and started with the simplest fix first. I replaced the battery cables with heavy duty cables. The old cables that were on my battery were smaller and the terminal connectors didn't fit as tight as the ones I installed this weekend. This has fixed my problem.

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks for the update Mike. It is always nice when there is feedback from someone who was helped by the Fordbarners. John

I went through lots of the same stuff, new cables, grind down the ground cables, on and on, turned out the stupid starter was bad. Turned slowly when hot. An old rusty looking starter off the shelf solved the problem. Good luck Mel
