1940 Mercury Eight 2 door sedan.. 1 of 15,072 made. I just read that there are less than 1000 2door sedans currently registered in the U.S.A. Rare!

The car runs, drives, and stops great..

Clear title in hand

It has the original 95hp flathead V8 and 3 speed manual trans... Numbers matching car... This car is EXTREMELY straight and solid.. It appears that it has been well cared for it's entire life.. From the cars condition I assume that the 78k miles on the odometer is the original mileage (when we removed the headlights they were stamped 1941) ..

It also appears to only have been repainted once in it's life.. There is ZERO bondo or filler in this car... The floors and trunk are perfect.. The frame is really solid.. The car has all of it's original and hard to find trim pieces (especially the rare plastic dash pieces).

It does have a very nice new cloth interior (not original interior, but relatively period correct). The car has also been completely re-wired with original style cloth wrapped wiring.

Radiator was removed, pressure tested and sealed, and all new radiator stainless upper hoses..

This car could be driven as is (it has perfect patina).. Or is a prime candidate for a full resto (because it is so complete.).. They also make a killer hot rods. $19,000 obo. Open to offers, open to trades.. Especially open to corvette trades.. No sh!t boxes, no rust buckets..

Back up front, bring me $18000 or trade for 55/57 T-bird or 35-6 coupe running projects or Nice Model A coupe hot rod. I will even entertain pre-74 corvettes customs, stockers, race cars, projects ( Henry forgive me)
