8rt Fan Blade Options?
I have a stock 6 blade aluminum fan fitted to the stock 8 bolt hub assembly on my 8rt engine. Are/were there other fan blades offered for this configuration?
The exploded view in the F1 manual shows a 4 blade fan on the 8 bolt hub.... Or have other assemblies been adapted to fit this application with 3 or 4 blades?

What are you wanting to do, change it? I would think the 6 blade would be the best option.

Re: 8rt Fan Blade Options?
The 6-blade may have been for larger trucks. Many of the fan parts are interchangeable between F series trucks. I know most of them used the same radiators & shrouds.

Re: 8rt Fan Blade Options?
as i understand the 6 blade fans were used on F5 and larger trucks. My F1 project came with a 6 blade when i got it. i plan on running it once i am ready, it cant hurt to have the extra airflow.

Re: 8rt Fan Blade Options?
4 blade was standard. I opted for the 6 blade for better airflow. THey are louder though....

Re: 8rt Fan Blade Options?
I have a 6 blade on my '36 and I do not notice it being louder. Man, it moves the air. I cannot get my 8ba with 180* thermostats to run over 178*.
