Engine color, 34 4 cyl engine built in Canada?

I've '33 Canadian four and its original engine and transmission color was the typical "Ford engine green" of the period although I'm aware that some period engines and transmissions (V-8s and fours) were originally painted gray in both Canada and the U.S. The photo below is of a U.S. '32 V-8 transmission case with its original gray paint.
