Odyssey Battery w Generator
Hello All:
Posted this over on the HAMB too (got some good insight, just wanting to see if anyone here has ever actually run one)- has anybody used the Odyssey PC680 w a generator (12V)?? If so, any issues?? Thanks in Advance, Dave |

Used to have a 12/24 start cart for ground starting the helicopters. Originally it had four 6-volt batteries but we eventually changed it over to two 12-volt Odyssey batteries since they had the highest cold cranking amps we could get. They lasted a long time under mostly 24-volt use but they weren't cheap. Starting the little turbine shaft engines took a lot of amperage. We would have to charge it back up after each use.
