anyone ever put a 98 or so 5.0 fi and auto o/d in a 55 sedan ??? lookin for some motor mount hints

Not sure of the differences between '54 and '55 but I dropped a '93 5.0 with AOD auto into my '54 Customline. Stock '86 Mustang motor mounts from Autozone worked fine. Had to elongate a bolt hole on the drivers side IIRC.

Not sure the differences between a c5.0 and earlier 302 but these are mine for a 351C. These were made back in the 80s

Any of these should work

84 Lincoln MkVII -These are a little bit taller than the Anchor 2725 and 2726 that also work.. The latter I am told require spacers for clearance

Also 76 F150 302 mounts - not sure on height if the same as the Lincolns

Jamco sells the various mounts I think. You could check with them. I used their mounts to put a 302 and AOD in my 53 Courier.

Run a search on Jamco, while they’re good they’ve possibly had some supply problems. May be over by now. COVID caused a lot of problems.
