U-Joint Inspection for Vibration
https://youtu.be/KGXtCB5AoG8
This seems like way too much side to side play in the u-joint based on what I’ve seen with more modern parts. It is still pretty tight when purely twisting the u-joint. If this is normal, what’s the next spot to look for a driveline vibration that doesn’t seem to be related to which gear I am in? Something at the rear end or torque tube? Thanks. Yeah, the nut holding the u-joint was tight. I’ll look at the torque tube bearing next. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Another thought is an axle bent at the end, outside the bearing. It would act like a bent wheel. |
