Default 36 woody gas sending unit?

Fuel gage stopped working and I need help finding the sending unit. Also would like to know what type of sending unit would work.
Thanks

Hi Everyone. Donpet, the stock 36 sender is mounted in the top of the fuel tank. My Phaeton has access after removing the rear seat. My '35 Fordor Touring (trunk) has access through the trunk. Both have a panel with one screw holding a plate in place.

Popular issues are with the float itself. Replacing the whole unit with aftermarket is not a path that leads to a lot of successful reports here on the 'barn, again, if your stuff is stock.
