Default Door latch

I need some guidance to remove the door latch from my 1928 AA (same of PU) door. I've removed all the screws and the latch moves around inside the door, but it seems too large to exit through the door edge.

It comes out through the door jamb edge. Remove the screws, and slide it out through the door jamb side, the opening lever can help with the maneuvering. Also, the A/AA versions of the latch have a rounded corner to help facilitate sliding them out. T/TT latches have square latch plates.
