55 fairlaine rear seat removal
Hello, the lock on my boot has broken and I need to get into my boot, I can remove the bottom rear seat but not to sure about the top, is it bolted in? or does it pop out, I didn't want to force it...
Hope someone can advise, Cheers, Mat. |

Re: 55 fairlaine rear seat removal
Once you get the lower cushion out look below the seat back and you'll find 2 bolts or screws that attach the bottom of the seat back to the body. Remove those and lift up on the seat back to release the 2 tabs that are just below the level of the parcel shelf. Re-installation is the reverse but usually not as easy.

Dobie is right but I will add one thing. You need to pull out (towards you) a little bit at the bottom of the backrest before you start to push up to remove or it will bind at the bottom. Don't pull outward to much or you will bend the clips at the top and you don't want to do that.
