Default intake manifold queston

Question, my 30 Phaeton does not have a vacuum port on the manifold...or any place else that I can see. Is it supposed to?

If it is an early 30 it wont have the vacuum port, being it should have electric wipers.

The Guidelines say that from Jan to June it had electric and from May to the end it had vacuum. (yes there is an overlap).

Is this Jan-June '30 intake manifold the same as the 1928 manifolds that had no vacuum port, or are there some differences ?

There were at least 7 different manifolds used, four in 1928 alone.

One had the threaded hole with a domed plug, one had no hole, one had tapered "feet", and one with no hole but a bulge.

1929 the hole showed up again with an oval plug.

June - Aug 1929 had the boss but not drilled.

Mid 30 the hole was moved.

Details are in the Guidelines
