My 1930 does not have cowl lights, but I got a good pair at a swap meet for $5 apiece. For such a good deal these will be my front turn signals. I see that they are designed to go over the cowl band, but what is the correct vertical placement of them?

The cowl cross brace has a hole in that the cowl lamp nut goes thru. Buy the wood blocks the vendors sell and you can center the hole. They also sell a centering tool.
