'30-'31 Open Cab Commercial Upper Stanchions

The factory pictures of open cab pickups don't seem to show wind wings. Do original stanchions have the holes for those brackets. Concerned that the plain steel repops may not be correct. If that is the case, I may just have a pair of standards powder coated or try paint over a blasted surface. My '30 pickup is one of the typical stainless adorned jobs and am getting ready to restore that commercial look. Thanks: Fred A
