Shift tower swap
The old guy with questions again.
Can I use a shift tower with the e-brake on the side on a transmission that had the e-brake in the front? Or do I have to have a transmission that is made for the e-brake on the passenger side?

Re: Shift tower swap
The transmissions are the are. The one that is different is the multi disk and it might work either way.

Re: Shift tower swap
I had a July 1929 coupe that came with the tower with the early brake handle. I believe the change over was somewhere around mid 1929. I replaced it with a tower with the brake handle on the side as I wanted to add the quick release accessory. The tower was no problem, but I had to replace the rod that goes between the brake handle and the cross shaft. Bratton has them.
