Can someone tell me what the correct size tap is for the ignition cable into the distributor? I have a dizy I rebuilt, but the pop out cable will not thread into the housing. I need to clean the threads. Thanks, Ed Saniewski

I seem to recall it's 1/2" pipe thread. If not, then it was 3/8" pipe thread.

If you don't have a tap then you can use a hacksaw to cut 4 slits in a short piece of pipe to use as a thread cleaner.
