Wink Re: Model A movie

I hate to say this, but most gangsters and outlaws of the 20's and 30's. Would not be caught dead in a Model-A. No class and most of all no power. Bad guys wanted to get away fast so anything with a straight eight or V-8 was preferable. Big city gangsters preferred high end cars like Cadillac (Al Capones ride of choice), Packard, Lincoln, etc. Hollywood
uses so many "A's" because they are inexpensive and plentiful and look the part. Clyde Barrow and Dillinger liked V-8 Fords because they had speed and were readily available. And did not stick out like a big fancy car.
