For me , its the look . Roadsters and phaetons are the sportiest model A's of all for me . Some prefer the convertable cabriolet and sedan because they are more conservative and have roll up windows . There is a saying that if the top goes down , the price goes up. The open cars are usually lighter and sometimes faster . The open cars are often hotter to ride in because trhe upper dash panel doesn't direct cool air to the floor when the windshield is open like the closed cars but that is a negative for me . Roadsters were among the lowest priced models when new but are often the most sought after now , for me anyway .
