Thanks Walt!!

I went back to work before you answered and did get it closely to the way you explained. Only I was able to lift the spring up and place it onto the brush brkt by sliding the spring to the top of the brkt. Thanks for your tip.
What a pain..
Yea. Never again will I pull the bolts clear out of the starter. Here's some pics..
