Default Re: Cornhead grease in steering

I just filled my steering box on the tonner with JD cornhead grease about an hour ago. I had an old giant syringe with about a 1" bore and I cut the tapered tip off a bit and at 65 degree temp it sucked up it's capacity in about 10 seconds. It took two helpings to get to just below the fill plug. I didn't want to fill my one good grease gun with something I wouldn't use up. The woodie gets the treatment tomorrow. This syringe has been handy with other fluids such as brake fluid. Maybe from a veterinary supply?
