Rebuilt 5 stockers this week for the early flathead , everyone of them had a advance problem with gummed up or stuck advance weights! Checked three new aftermarket units this week and everyone of them had the wrong advance curve or a incorrect amount of advance ( from very high to almost zero).
Its just a matter of making it right !!
