The 1930-31 chassis with the larger front brakes and Bevel gear rear axle used 3 different styles of the 20" 5 hand hole Budd disc wheels. The 30-31 front axle was bigger and stronger than the car axle that it replaced. The 5 hand hole Budd wheels can be used as single or dual wheels on the rear axle. From January 1930 to about June of 1930, Ford used the 28-29 body style on this chassis.
Some deluxe AA trucks also had a 20" wire wheel with a larger hub cap than the 1928 wire wheel. These wire wheels require special hubs and brake drums. These are hard to find.

Bill,
Just when did the AA-3105 Front Spindle Assembly come into effect?
It is not listed in the October 1928 Parts Price List (PPL) but is listed in the June 1929 PPL..
Thanks.
