Default Re: Ford car parts

The 1941 passenger car grill with the three pieces is unique. The front fenders had two or three engineering changes during the 1941 production year. The V8 engine block had a mild redesign for 1941. The new G-series 6-cylinder made its debut in 1941 with the 1/2 ton commercial being mid year due to the use of the earlier 1940 frame at the start of the initial production for pickups. The 9N powered 4-cylinder pickup was a one year only failure. 1941 was a major change year with the following year of 1942 being a redesign or correction year for easier and faster production of a similar model.

The 1942 design was very different in a lot of ways and was the basis for all the post war passenger cars. The pickups changed very little from 1942 to post war since the G8T trucks were manufactured throughout the war and used the same type cab.
