I've had two people try and get the AM radio in the 48 Woodie to work with nothing but static. I also had the best radio shop here in Detroit get the AM/FM Thumbscrew in my 68 Charger working. When installed it worked great. The only issue was it still sounded like a 1968 radio.
It's kinda like comparing a manual underwood to an IPhone.
