Put a P&J steering damper on my 40 coupe, I used the one with the heim joint attached to one end. I put the tie rod clamp end on the tie rod and fabricated a simple bracket with some store bough u clamps and put the heim end on an axle bracket held on by the clamps. Painted everything black and it disappeared. I never had any problems but I like the way it takes out some of the road feed back.
