My understanding is the Lois Delage entered GP racing in one year only - with those cars. They were 1500cc (91.5ci). He won the championship and didn't bother again - there was nowhere to go from winning in your first year.
I may be biased (I have one) but I regard Delage cars as the French Roll Royce but far more technically advanced.
