It is a beautiful place to visit, for certain. What mrtexas says, x2. We visit Hurricane Ridge a couple of times each year. Worth the trip. You can't be in a rush though. Slow down and enjoy. Take your walking shoes, too (a must). The trails, especially those leaving from the more remote south parking area offer breathtaking vistas of the Olympic range to the south and the Straights of Juan de Fuca to Vancouver Is., Canada looking north. The drive up (and I mean UP) from sea level in Port Angeles is worth the trip in itself. Enjoy!
