To use an AOD with a Y-block the adapter kit with starter will set you back about $850 then you have the cost of the AOD and the brackets and TV cable to do that will get you close to $2K by the time it is all said and done.You could get a good running 5.0(aka 302)and AOD for under $1200 and bolt in and have an engine that will be easier and cheaper to build and find parts for.Like I did (see Pix)
