My '29 Tudor has an older black paint job that has lots of dried white wax built up in the body seams. I want to remove it without using a wheel, preferring to do it by hand. I searched here, you tube and other car sites without success as to what to use to remove the dried wax. Could something as simple as warm water and a soft toothbrush work? Or do I have to clay bar the area? I read that Dawn dish soap works well. (Does it have to be only Dawn?)
Any suggestions on what would be best to get rid of the old wax crud?
Thanks.
