Part of the reason for the scarcity of military hardware with Ford's name on it may be Henry's aversion to war.
During WW1, He produced almost nothing for the war effort. He also chartered the "Peace ship" The Christina. He and a lot of others banded together and went to Sweden to negotiate an end to the war. During the war, He produced "Eagle Boats", subchasers.
