Re: Kearney Foundry 34 heads
ford38, I met Jon Scobel at the V8 meet in Dearborn 1993 but I unfortunately missed the "Fords and Flowers". At the swap meet area he had a table set up with a sample of his new heads, including a nice sketch of a '35 Ford and greyhound. One of the heads was cut in cross section so you could see inside. I think I initially ordered a set for my '34 Ford, and liked them so well that I bought a pair through the mail for my '36 a few years later.
He told me he researched the Ford Archives quite a bit because he wanted to get the markings and numbers right. Also took care in making the heads with modern durable aluminum and still having a stock appearance. So I am sure there was alot of time and frustration spent, but the result was a superb reproduction.
