I transfer punched through the 3 rivet holes and drilled and tapped 10-32. Then drilled hole in center for dip stick and filed it to match profile of aluminum fitting. Using 3, 10-32 allen head screws I installed aluminum fitting to outside of pan and the fabricated plate to the inside of the pan (without gasket). I then tack welded plate to inside of pan. Now remove screws, install gasket and fitting. If leaks appear in the future they can easily be repaired after draining the oil.
