Apparently there are now two designs for the leakless water pump bushing. The original that has been around for 15-20 years and a new one.
My question is with regard to the new design. It incorporates the packing nut and bushing as one piece. The bushing really is not a bushing but has a seal, followed by a needle bearing, and then another seal. Does anyone have any experience with this new design?
