I used the Drake tool on my hinge pins.First I had tried propane and no luck. I moved up to accetylene got it glowing red hot and it worked for me. As I was heating up the hinge I sprayed water on the door metal around it to keep it cool . BINGO!! By the way I said I used the Drake tool .When I was done the Drake tool was ready for the garbage bin,It is not what it is cracked up to be .It was like one of those throw away cigarette lighters.But it did work [once]
