Had the same problem on a 40. Took the doors with hinges off the car. Soaked for a couple of days. A friend held the door upside down and set the hinge on a large solid vise on a solid workbench. I wacked the pin real hard several times with a drift pin and heavy sledge. It worked. I think having a solid place to set the hinge on is important. Trying when on the car is not solid enough.
