The engine is rebuilt. Looks like a new one. The car was a frame off restoration a number of years ago. I just don't have much history on it. I believe it always set more than it was ever driven. Sounds like I'd be well off to just keep clean oil in it. I'll forget about removing the pan then. Like I said I didn't get much gunk out of it. Actually the oil on my fingers was still fairly clean. Thanks for your opinions as these vehicles are pretty much foreign to me!
