pretty truck and welcome. As a first tip, get a copy of the "operators manual" aka owners manual, for your year A. These are available in reproductions very inexpensively from most suppliers. ( see sticky thread on those

this manual will tell you most of what you need to know to drive and maintain your A without hurting it, and it will answer many questions like how to use the spark advance, how to shift a crash box, etc.
consider joining your local A club chapter. You'll find helpful friends, and support on tours, maintenance, repairs .
