The piece that you screw into the head had a too longer screw in part. Frustrating as I looked at it and thought that could hit a valve, did the first one fine and then absolutely stupidly screwed the next one in further against my better judgement. I'm devastated at my moment of stupidity but thats what happens when someone that doest know much about engines, plays with them.
Big lesson learnt.
