Those temps are usually mid after noon.

Do it first thing in the morning, so you can be there when they open, then head home right after the estimate. It shouldn't take long. The engine will cool down while they are doing the estimate, for the drive back home. If you can leave the hood at home, so much for the better.

I can't see where you are located, but it has to be allot flatter than here in Colorado.
