If the diaphragm seems flexible and works well (you can just suck on the dang thing), then you might be okay. The one I am considering is flexible but I have no idea what the opening vacuum is. Does anyone know if a chart exists that list part numbers or letters and opening specifications?
Do the Edelbrock valves have a radius ?
