Thanks for the info as it so happens got in touch with Richard this morning, love the search function on here.
Sadly the car does not come with the original Torque tube so is there any other way of knowing if the car was originally a V8 or not? I guess in a way it wont matter as long as I source a V8 torque tube and driveshaft? If thats the case how long should these be so I can ensure we source the correct one?
