"That's a good honest truck right there.." AMEN!!!! Give the 4 speed a chance. Once you get the hang of it shifting is manageable if you're not fighting big city traffic. Also if you don't plan to use her for heavy hauling, you might get more bang for the buck by installing a taller set of gears in the back.
