I have seen this on one other roadster about 10 years ago.

Not sure of the composition. I wonder if it would be somewhere in the Ford Archives?

There is no mention of this material in the FORD Body Parts List for November 15, 1929.

Did not see it in my 1929 Standard Coupe or Tudor doors.

What was in them was some type of tar material that was used to deaden the sound.
