Man!! You may have uncovered a real gem. Here. If it was me, I would graciously prevail upon the great "Ol Ron" to help quantify the nuances and historical relevance of this piece. This was his " Grand Stage". He is so very knowledgeable but even more important, he is so gracious with his time.

The problem with blowers etc. in these flatheads, there is a limit to modifying them to the point of irrelevance.
My opinion. I admire those who can get the most with the least in these engines. To modify these engines, much beyond the initial engineering genius levels established by Ford's ground breaking engineering department, takes the fun out of it.
FH's don't breath. It's a wonderful Thing!!! That gives us all a challenge.
Feed the engine as instructed on the label.
