When using the F-100 hubs on the 37-48 spindles you need to do the following; The stock outer Ford wheel bearing will work from 37-48. You then make an inner bearing and seal change. The F-100 backing plates will bolt the early spindles. There was an old Rod and Custom Quarterly that gave all the part numbers to make the conversion.
