Agree 100%. Seeing a modern rear under a "traditional" hot rod makes me just keep walking. Zero interest.
I haven't side stepped the clutch or anything like that, but I've gotten the rear bias ply tires smoking and the old banjo is still ticking. At least for now. LOL!
