Think about it.....they're over 40 years old now. I think AMC first used them around 1981. The very first one I drove was in a brand new '83 Camaro with a 305 V8. A buddy had ordered the car, and as soon as it came in, we went out in the toolies and hammered-on this new, close ratio transmission. I was in love after years of rowing Muncie 4-speeds. That T5 shifted like butter.

Of course, a good, healthy T5 can still be assembled from aftermarket, or select used parts. And of course, there are the TKO, and the new bullet-proof TKX just waiting for your enjoyment. Bring CASH!
