One problem I can see ahead for me is my car is right hand drive, it was built in Canada and exported new to South Africa ending up in the UK approx 1990 (they were never sold here, we were a little busy in Europe at the time  ) so clutch release arm is going to be on the opposite side to the Chevy.

I know of a 36 woody RHD, with a T-5. I think he used a hydraulic clutch, but if you could find a RHD truck bell housing it would be even easier because you would use the stock peddle assembly, it can be done. So I think you have more than one way to get a T-5 in your car. Good Luck
