Is it possible to run hubcaps /1940s steel wheels? Or do I need to run a set of 16” wire wheels to be able to run hubcaps ?
The car is bone stock aside from the 1940s ford steel wheels. I have some 1940s hydraulic brakes for front and rear but they aren’t installed yet

Do you still have the mechanical brakes or converted to hydraulic? Just a suggestion. The Cal Custom baby moons from the 1960's era might fit as they are slightly deeper,if you want to run those .Tough to find.I placed a wanted ad on the HAMB and got some but that was 4 yrs ago.
